曾经缔造《战争机器》系列的制作人Cliff Bleszinski一向语出惊人，最近他在接受媒体采访时表示，任天堂公司应该停止制造游戏主机硬件，转型为纯软件开发商，让更多玩家体验马里奥系列游戏的乐趣。他还表示现在不是八十年代了，游戏机处于一个世代变革时期，会带来很多不稳定的因素，我们现在正处于这种混乱环境中。

除此之外Cliff Bleszinski说道就半导体制造业来讲，任天堂应该停止制造主机而应该注重制造软件，他认为未来任天堂的出路就是转型为纯软件商。未来应该属于索尼和微软的，但与此同时人们也热衷在iPad上玩游戏。至于PC平台，Cliff也表示看好，他认为PC游戏处于一个复兴的年代，全数字下载的条件也具备了，未来会如何发展很是拭目以待。
